– Do not use any accessories not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer as this could result in fire,
electric shocks or injury.
– Do not operate the appliance without water.
– Remove the water tank from the base station to fill and
do not exceed the MAX level.
– Only use the appliance together with the base station
supplied.
– Do not come into contact with steam produced during
infusion otherwise you could scald yourself.
– Boiling water can cause burns and scalding.
– Ensure that the ON button is accessible at all times.
– Never immerse the appliance in water. Always remember
that this is an electrical appliance.
– Only clean the base station with a damp cloth.
– Press the ON/OFF button and disconnect the plug from
the socket to switch off the appliance.
– Always pull the plug and not the cable itself to disconnect
the appliance from the power supply.
– Do not allow the power cable to hang over the edge of
tables or countertops or touch hot surfaces.
– Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and
before cleaning the appliance.
– Pull the plug out of the socket when you are no longer
using the coffee maker or before cleaning it. Allow the
appliance to cool down before cleaning.
– Do not operate electrical appliances if the power cable or
plug are damaged, after faults have been identified or if
the appliance is damaged in any way. If this is the case,
take the appliance immediately to your nearest author-
ised service centre for inspection, repair or adjustment.
– Do no attempt to replace the power cable of the appli-
ance as this requires special tools. Only repair or replace
the power cable in a service workshop authorised by the
manufacturer to guarantee the safety of the appliance.
– Do not immerse the cable and plug in water or other liq-
uids, as this could cause fire, electric shocks or injury.
Caution: To avoid the risk of the safety switch being
switched on, do not connect the appliance to an external
switching device, such as a timer, or to a power circuit that
is regularly switched on and off by power supply companies.
– When cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the power
supply.
– Ensure that the base section is dry before using the appliance.
