SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

MAGNETIC FIELD

CAUTION! Do not locate sensitive high gain equipment such as preamplifiers or

tape decks directly above or below the unit. This unit has a strong magnetic

field which can induce hum into unshielded devices that are located nearby.

The field has strongest spots just above and below the unit. Locate the

amplifier at the bottom of the rack and the preamplifier or other sensitive

equipment at the top.

To prevent electric shock, do not remove top or bottom covers.

No user serviceable parts inside.

Refer servicing to qualified servicing personnel.

1) Read the manual prior to using this unit and keep it for future reference.

2) Adhere to all warnings and instructions marked on the unit and contained in the manual.

3) Don’t place the unit close to water, e.g. in a bathroom, near a wash tub, a swimming pool, etc.

4) Keep away from heat sources such as radiator, stove and amplifier etc.

5) Operate the unit only with the rated power supply. Please ask your dealer or local power supply

company if you are not sure about your type of power supply .If the unit is operated with batteries or

other power supplies, please refer to this booklet.

6) Do not walk on or squeeze the power cord.

7) Clean this unit with a soft cloth. Prevent water and/or other liquids to enter into the housing.

8) Unplug the power cord if the unit is not used for a long time or during a thunderstorm to prevent

voltage surges to damage the inner circuitry.

9) Prevent objects and liquids to enter into unit.

10) If one of the following happens, refer to qualified service personnel:

A) Power cord or plug a damaged; or

B) An object or liquid has entered into the unit; or

C) The unit has been exposed to rain ; or

D) The unit doesn’t work; or

E) The unit has fallen or doesn’t work normally.

11) Repair ---Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. All repairs must be carried out by a qualified

technician. The user is only allowed to perform manipulations, settings and controls specified in this

manual.

12) Ventilation --- Do not cover the ventilation openings to prevent overheating of the unit. Do not place

the unit on bed, blanket, sofa or similar soft surface. Do not place unit inside a bookcase, a closed

cupboard, etc.

13) Accessories---Not use parts that hare not recommended by the manufacturer in order to avoid damage.

14) Auxiliary equipment ---Do not place this unit on unstable vehicle, shelf, tripod or table. It will cause

serious harm to child or adult if the unit falls down. Please use the vehicle, shelf, tripod or table

recommended by the manufacturer.

15) Spare parts---If the unit requires spare parts, use only spares recommended by the manufacturer and

that are in all aspects identical to the original parts. .

16) Safety check---After repairing, repairer must test the unit for security.

Precautions when using the USB 2.0 and 5V DC terminals

When connecting the computer to the USB 2.0 connector, make sure to observe the following points.

Failing to do so risks freezing the computer and corrupting or losing the data. If the computer or the mixer

freezes, restart the application software or the computer OS, or unplug the mixer and then plug it in again.

• Use an AB type USB cable. USB 3.0 cable cannot be used.

• Before connecting the computer to the USB 2.0 terminal, exit from any power-saving mode of the

computer (such as suspend, sleep, standby).

Controls and Functions

1. MIC/LINE Input jacks

For connection to a microphone, an instrument, or an audio device. These jacks support both XLR and

phone plugs.

2. CLIP LED

Lights when the volume of input sound is too high. If it is lit, turn the GAIN knob to the left to lower the

volume.

GAIN knob

Determines the basic volume for channel 1. Adjust this knob so that the CLIP LED flashes briefly when

singing or playing the loudest.

3. USB PLAYBACK TO CH3-CH4 switch

If the switch is turned on, the sound from the computer is assigned via the USB 2.0 terminal to channel 3/4.

4. +48V phantom switch / +48V LED

When this switch is turned on, the +48V LED lights and DC +48 V phantom power is supplied to the XLR

plug on MIC/LINE input jack. Turn this switch on when using a phantom powered condenser microphone.

NOTE: Be sure to leave this switch off if you do not need phantom power. Follow the important precautions

below, in order to prevent noise and possible damage to external devices as well as the mixer if you turn

this switch on. Be sure to leave this switch off when you connect a device to channel 1 that does not

support phantom power. Make sure to turn this switch off when connecting/ disconnecting a cable to/from

channel 1.

Slide the fader on channel 1 to minimum before turning this switch on /off.

5. LEVEL effects

The effects of the built in high-quality digital effect processor are sent to CH1 channel. Adjust the volume of

the effects that are added to channel 1.

6. CH 1 LOW/HIGH 2 Band EQ

A responsive 2-band EQ provides independent controls for 2 frequency bands. The

HIGH and LOW bands are shelving filters, which affect respectively the high

frequencies above 12 KHz and the low frequencies below 80 Hz.

7. CH 1 LEVEL knob

Adjust the volume of the sound input from the microphone or any other source

connected to channel 1.

8. Guitar Input jack

Connect to an instrument, such as an electric guitar or an electric bass. This jack supports phono plugs. This

jack is disabled when the GUITAR/LINE switch is off.

9. GUITAR/LINE switch

For switching the input on channel 2. Turn this switch on when directly connecting an instrument with high

output impedance, such as an electric guitar or electric bass, to the Guitar input Jack. Turn this switch off

when connecting a line-level Instrument to the Line Input jack. When this switch is turned on, use an

unbalanced cable with phono plugs to connect the instrument to the mixer.

CAUTION

When operating this switch, turn all output controls (such as the Speakers knob and Headphones knob fully

to "O" (minimum). Sudden high level peaks caused by the switching operation can damage external devices

as well as the hearing of those present.

10. LINE input jacks

Connect to line-level devices such as an electric keyboard or an audio device. Use the L/MONO jack on

channel for instruments, etc. with mono output. In this case, the sound input to the L/MONO jack is output

from both the L channel and R channel on the mixer.

11. MAIN OUT jacks

Connect powered monitor speakers. These jacks support phono plugs (balanced/unbalanced).

12. Power ON LED

Lights up when the mixer is powered.

13. Headphones output jack

Connect to a set of headphones. This jack supports a stereo phono plug. To connect headphones or

earphones with stereo mini plugs, you can use the HEADSET headphones output jack.

14. HEADSET microphone input jack

Connect to the microphone plug for your headset. Normally this plug is color-coded in pink. The audio

input here is sent to channel 1.

HEADSET headphones output jack

Connector for the headphone for your headset. Normally this plug is color-coded in light green. The same

sound as for the headphones.

15. Level meter

If the level of the sound sent to the computer exceeds -3dBu, SIG (green) turns on; if the level reaches 3 dB

before clip level (+6 dBu), CLIP (red) turns on. To send an appropriate volume to the computer, adjust the

volume of each channel until SIG remains lit and CLIP flashes only momentarily when there is a loud sound.

16. Headphones knob

Adjust the volume to headphones connected to the Headphones output jack (and "HEADSET" headphones

output jack A).

17. MAIN OUT knob

MAIN OUT knob Adjust the volume send to MAIN output jack.

18. Level knobs

Set the volume balance between each channel.

-Adjust the volume of the sound input from the guitar, or other source connected to channel 2.

-Adjust the volume of the sound input from the CH3/4 LINE INPUT, and the volume of the sound input from

the computer via the USB 2.0terminal.

19. USB 2.0 terminal

For connection to a computer using the included USB 2.0 cable. When connected to a computer, the

computer supplies power to the mixer and audio data can be sent between the mixer and computer.

NOTE!

Please do not connect any device to USB 2.0 terminal other than personal computers or tablet devices.

NOTE!

Please read the safety precautions for the USB power adapter or USB mobile battery that you are using.

Use a USB power adaptor or USB mobile battery that can supply power via a USB micro B plug based on the

following USB standards:

Notes :

tomber et provoquer des blessures et des dommages. Utilisez l’appareil uniquement avec un chariot,

support, tabouret ou table recommandé par le fabricant et vendu avec l’appareil.

- des objets ou des liquides ont pénétrés dans l’appareil,

- l’appareil a été exposé à la pluie ou tout autre liquide,

- l’appareil ne fonctionne pas normalement ou présente un changement significatif dans son

fonctionnement,

- l’appareil est tombé et le boîtier a été endommagé.

15) Pour les réparations, assurez-vous qu’uniquement des pièces détachés homologuées par le fabricant

ont été utilisés qui présentent exactement les mêmes caractéristiques techniques que les pièces

d’origine.

16) Après chaque réparation, demandez au réparateur d’effectuer tous les tests de routine afin de s’assurer

du bon fonctionnement de l’appareil.

Précautions à prendre avec des fiches USB 2.0 et 5V DC

Lorsque vous branchez un ordinateur sur la fiche USB 2.0, respectez les consignes suivantes sous peine de

planter l’ordinateur et de perdre ou endommager des données. Si l’ordinateur ou la table de mixage se

bloquent, redémarrez le logiciel d’application ou le système d’exploitation de l’ordinateur, ou bien

débranchez et rebranchez l’ordinateur.

• Utilisez un cordon USB de type AB. Ne pas utiliser de câble USB 3.0

• Avant de brancher l’ordinateur sur la fiche USB 2.0, désactivez tout mode d’économie d’énergie (tel que

mise en veille, sommeil, suspension).

Commandes & Fonctions

1. Entrées MIC/LINE

Pour le branchement d’un microphone, d’un instrument ou tout autre appareil audio. Ces fiches acceptent

des connecteurs XLR et RCA.

2. LED CLIP

S’allume lorsque le niveau d’entrée est trop élevé. Si elle s’allume, tournez le bouton GAIN vers la gauche

pour baisser le volume.

Bouton GAIN

Détermine le volume de base du canal 1. Réglez ce bouton de façon à ce que la LED “CLIP” s’allume

brièvement lorsque le chant ou la musique sont au plus fort.

3. Commutateur USB PLAYBACK TO CH3-CH4

Lorsque le commutateur est enfoncé, le son de l’ordinateur est affecté au canal 3/4 via la fiche USB 2.0.

4. Alimentation fantôme +48V / LED +48V

Lorsque ce commutateur est enfoncé, le voyant +48V s’allume et une tension fantôme de +48Vdc est

appliquée à la fiche XLR de l’entrée MIC/LINE. Activez ce commutateur lorsque vous utilisez un microphone

à condensateur.

NOTE: Désengagez ce commutateur si vous n’avez pas besoin d’une alimentation fantôme. Suivez les

consignes ci-dessous afin d’éviter des bruits parasites et des dommages éventuels aux appareils externes

ainsi qu’à la table de mixage si vous laissez ce commutateur en position basse. Assurez-vous que ce

commutateur est en position haute lorsque vous branchez un appareil sur le canal 1 qui ne supporte pas

l’alimentation fantôme. Lors du branchement/débranchement d’un câble sur le canal 1, ce commutateur

doit toujours être en position haute.

Poussez le fader du canal 1 sur le minimum avant d’actionner ce commutateur.

5. Niveau des effets

Les effets du processeur digital de haute qualité intégré sont envoyés dans le canal 1. Réglez le volume des

effets qui sont ajoutés au canal 1.

6. CH 1 LOW/HIGH 2 Band EQ

Un égaliseur réactif à 2 bandes permet d’agir indépendamment sur les 2 bandes de

fréquences. Les bandes HIGH et LOW sont des filtres d’écrêtage qui affectent

respectivement les hautes fréquences supérieures à 12kz et les basses fréquences

inférieures à 80Hz.

7. Bouton de NIVEAU CANAL 1

Réglez le volume de l’entrée sonore du microphone ou de toute autre source connectée sur le canal 1.

8. Entrée GUITARE

Branchez un instrument tel qu’une guitare électrique ou de basse. Cette fiche RCA est désactivée lorsque le

commutateur GUITAR/LINE est désactivé.

9. Commutateur GUITARE/LIGNE

Sélectionne l’entrée sur le canal 2. Enfoncez le commutateur si vous branchez directement un instrument

avec une haute impédance de sortie telle qu’une guitare électrique ou de basse sur la fiche d’entrée.

Mettez ce commutateur en position haute si vous branchez un instrument de niveau ligne sur la fiche

d’entrée Ligne. Lorsque ce commutateur est enfoncé, utilisez un câble asymétrique avec fiches RCA pour

brancher l’instrument sur la table de mixage.

ATTENTION

Avant d’actionner ce commutateur, mettez tous les contrôles de sortie (tels que les volumes de haut-

parleur et de casque) complètement sur “0” (minimum). Des crêtes subites de haut niveau causes par la

commutation risquent d’endommager les appareils externes ainsi que l’ouïe de l’audience.

10. Fiches d’entrée LIGNE

Branchez des appareils de niveau ligne tels qu’un keyboard électrique ou un appareil audio. Utilisez la fiche

L/MONO sur le canal pour des instruments, etc. possédant une sortie mono. Dans ce cas, l’entrée sonore

par la fiche L/MONO est restituée par les deux canaux gauche et droite de la table de mixage.

11. Fiches de sortie MAIN OUT

Pour le branchement d’enceintes monitor actives. Ces fiches acceptent des fiches RCA (symétriques et

asymétriques).

12. Voyant de tension

S’allume lorsque la table de mixage est alimentée.

13. Fiche de sortie casque

Branchez un casque muni d’une fiche RCA stéréo. Pour brancher un casque ou des écouteurs munis de mini

jacks stereo, vous pouvez utiliser la sortie HEADSET.

14. Entrée microphone HEADSET

Branchez la fiche micro de votre headset. Normalement cette fiche est codée couleur rose. L’entrée audio

est envoyée vers le canal 1.

Sortie casque HEADSET

Branchez le casque de votre headset. Normalement cette fiche est codée couleur vert clair. Même son que

pour le casque.

15. Indicateur de niveau

Si le niveau audio envoyé à l’ordinateur dépasse -3dBu, le voyant SIG (vert) s’allume; si le niveau atteint 3

dB avant le clipping (+6 dBu), le voyant CLIP (rouge) s’allume. Pour envoyer le bon niveau à l’ordinateur,

réglez le volume d chaque canal de façon à ce que le voyant SIG reste allumé et le voyant CLIP clignote de

temps en temps en présence d’un son fort.

16. Bouton de réglage du casque

Réglez le volume du casque branché sur la sortie Headphones (et la sortie casque "HEADSET" A).

17. Sortie générale

Le bouton MAIN règle le volume envoyé à la sortie MAIN.

18. Réglages de niveau

Réglez l’équilibre du volume entre chaque canal.

-Réglez le volume d’entrée de la guitare ou de toute autre source branchée sur le canal 2.

-Réglez le volume d’entrée de l’entrée ligne canal 3 / 4 ainsi que de l’ordinateur via la fiche USB 2.0.

19. Fiche USB 2.0

Pour brancher une source sur un ordinateur au moyen du cordon USB 2.0 fourni. Lorsqu’elle est branchée

sur un ordinateur, la table de mixage est alimentée par l’ordinateur et les données audio peuvent

s’échanger entre la table de mixage et l’ordinateur.

ATTENTION!

Ne jamais brancher un autre appareil sur la fiche USB2.0 qu’un PC ou une tablette.

Reportez-vous aux consignes de sécurité de votre adaptateur d’alimentation USB ou la batterie mobile USB

que vous utilisez.

Utilisez un adaptateur d’alimentation USB ou une batterie mobile USB qui délivre une tension via une micro

fiche USB B basée sur les normes USB suivantes:
