12. Pour the desired amount of water from the tap into the unit only before it is powered
on. If there is an excessive amount of water in the unit, remove it before powering
it on.
13. Do not place the unit close to sources of heat such as ovens or gas or electric
cookers.
14. There is a risk of re if the heater is covered up during its use or if it comes into
contact with, or is simply excessively close to, inammable materials, such as, for
example, curtains, fabrics, papers, etc. whilst it is operational. Make sure that there
is no object or material on the heater when it is being used.
15. Do not cover the heater with any metal lm (aluminium foil), since this could cause
the device to produce an excessive amount of heat. Do not place any inammable
material, such as, for example, paper, card, or plastic lm, or any other material
which could catch re or melt, on or near the heater.
16. During heating and sterilisation, the heating chamber reaches high temperatures.
Open the unit using the handle on the lid (located on the hood). DO NOT OPEN
THE LID WHILST THE UNIT IS BEING USED.
17. Once heating has nished, remove the baby bottle or the jar of baby food
immediately to avoid its temperature continuing to increase.
18. Make sure always to follow the heating instructions in order to avoid the baby bottle
or jar of baby food heating up during an excessively long period of time.
19. Use plastic baby bottles which can boil or baby bottles/receptacles made of heat-
resistant glass.
20. FOR THE SAKE OF THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILDREN - ALWAYS CHECK THE
TEMPERATURE OF THE BABY FOOD/MILK BY PLACING A SMALL AMOUNT
ON A SENSITIVE PART OF YOUR BODY (FOREARM OF THE BACK OF YOUR
HAND).
21. Never use any device whose cable or plug has been damaged or if it is not working
correctly. Return the device to the nearest authorised centre for its inspection,
repair, or adjustment. The cable that is supplied with the device is short in order to
reduce the risk of getting tangled or causing a tripping hazard.
22. Is extension cables are to be used (or the long removable power supply cable):
• The electrical requirements marked on the removable power supply cable must be
the same as, or more than, those of the device.
• The device has an earth safety grounding and, therefore, the extension cable must
have three wires including the earth connection.
• You must avoid the cables hanging or creating an obstacle in order to minimise the
risk of tripping on it or hooking it or accidently pulling it (especially for children).
23. This device must not be used by people (including children) whose physical,
sensory, or cognitive capabilities are reduced, or who lack the experience and
expertise necessary to use it, unless they do so under supervision or they have
been given instructions regarding the device’s use by a person who is responsible
for their safety.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Only use the baby bottle heater in areas where there are no curtains, furniture, or
other furnishings which could be aected by the heat.
2. Use the device in areas which are suciently ventilated. Only use utensils which
are heat resistant.
